Aaron, was and is a good friend to many. Filled with a great intensity & passion, his mere presence invited, no demanded, of those around him a confrontation of no less vigor of one with themselves--both the beautiful and the ugly. His wholeheartedness, his power to give and to seek forgiveness was truly a God given grace of inspirational proportions. His life was filled with great pain & suffering. Those who know him probably will bring his diabetes to mind when thinking about his suffering; however, he often confided that what pained him most was the memory of his past, and the times that he failed to love others as he was called to by Christ. Miraculously, he found the strength to say that he thanked God for his diabetes, and saw through his struggles, his pain as a gift. I give witness to this, and know he said the same to others.
Saints of God, come to his aid! Hasten to meet him, angels of the Lord! Receive his soul and present him to God the Most High. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. |
